It is time for the final installment of the Treaty of Versailles (ToV) series. As promised, there will be some more Jew-naming.
Let’s start with one more rich and powerful Jew from America: Bernard Baruch. Wikipedia describes Baruch as such:
After amassing a fortune on the New York Stock Exchange, he impressed President Woodrow Wilson by managing the nation’s economic mobilization in World War I as chairman of the War Industries Board. He advised Wilson during the Paris Peace Conference. He made another fortune in the postwar bull market, but foresaw the Wall Street crash and sold out well in advance.
Baruch was the leader of War Industries Board, basically the Military Industrial Complex. The United States engaging in war was beneficial to him. Baruch had the ear of President Wilson and advised him during the Paris Peace Conference (PPC). He also magically predicated the Wall Street crash and saved his assets.
Sarah, my robot assistant (Bing AI), is not shy about sharing the accomplishments of Baruch during the PPC.
In point 1 Sarah says, “He [Baruch] played a crucial role in shaping discussions related to reparations, financial stability, and economic recovery after World War I“. In fact, he was on the “Supreme Economic Council.” That sounds pretty important. If you read part one of this series, you would know that Germany suffered greatly because of the economic conditions imposed on them after the war. Baruch was a proponent of the League of Nations, which oversaw the reparations and disarmament of Germany. Also in point 4, we can see that Baruch participated in negotiations of three treaties which resulted in Germany, Austria, and Bulgaria losing territory. It is fair to say that Baruch can be held at least partly responsible for the disastrous outcomes of the PPC.
Now it’s time to venture from powerful and influential Jews in America to the Jews of the other Allied countries.
In England we have Sir Philip Albert Gustave David Sassoon, 3rd Baronet. Sassoon was a member of the prominent Jewish Sassoon family and Rothschild family. He was a British politician and socialite. I feel like I would be remiss if I didn’t share the following fact snippets about him:
Sassoon was openly homosexual at a time when homosexuality was illegal in Britain. Despite this, he was a Conservative MP for Hythe from 1912 to his untimely death in 1939. On top of that, he was a celebrated socialite and often entertained the Royal Family.
Sassoon was present at the PPC, wielding his influence behind the scenes. If you’re wondering what kind of things he might have been influencing for, look to his father, Edward Sassoon. Sir Edward Sassoon was a close friend of Arthur Balfour—the same Arthur Belfour of the Balfour Declaration fame.
For more doings of British Jews at the PPC, you can refer to this book I stumbled upon on the Internet Archive:
The “Delegation of the Jews of the British Empire” sent five Jews to the PPC and then presented their report to the “Board of Deputies of British Jews” and “The Council of the Anglo-Jewish Association.” I find it interesting that Jews set up special interest groups for themselves in every country in which they reside, but when it comes to White people, advocacy groups in their own countries is evil “White supremacy.”
Moving on to France we have Georges Mandel (aka Louis George Rothschild). He was the Chief of Staff to the French Prime minister, Georges Clemenceau, during the PPC.
Mandel began working life as a journalist for L’Aurore, a literary and socialist newspaper founded in 1897 by Émile Zola and Georges Clemenceau. They notably defended Alfred Dreyfus during the Dreyfus Affair of the 1890s. The paper continued until 1916.
Alfred Dreyfus was a Jew that was convicted of treason. Dreyfus was eventually exonerated, but many consider him to be guilty as charged. Mandel and Clemenceau defending Dreyfus illustrates their loyalty to Jews.
Mandel was also a part of the Comité des Délégations Juives (English: Committee of Jewish Delegations), an international organization that was created against the background of the Paris Peace Conference in 1919 to represent Jewish interests in Europe. It was incorporated into the World Jewish Congress in 1936.
Finally, from Russia we have Chaim Weizmann. Weizmann was instrumental in obtaining the Balfour Declaration and later convincing the United States government to recognize the newly formed State of Israel. He served as President of the World Zionist Organization and was the very first president of Israel. A real Zionist through and through.
Weizmann was also a big supporter of the League of Nations. The following text from the Center for Israel Education tells us why the League of Nations enjoyed Jewish support:
On January 18th, the Peace Conference approved the creation of the League of Nations under which the mandatory system was to be established. The mandatory system of the League of Nations placed European powers like Britain and France in charge of Arab provinces that were previously administered by the Ottoman Empire. These League of Nations trusteeships or mandates gave London and Paris political control over vast areas of the Middle East that later became the countries of Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine, which later became Israel.
With Palestine under British and French control, a state for Jews in Palestine was a shoo-in.
Now that we know that Jews successfully campaigned for their Jewish state on stolen land, what about Germany? That question will be answered in my next article: Who Started WW2? Weimar Germany. Stay tuned!
Perhaps a better title for this series would have been who or what caused WWII, rather than started.
I was taking a cure from Walendy’s book.
Interesting — I have now tried twice to correct a comment I left before about Jim Rizoli passing away — it was his twin brother, Joe, who died, not Jim, who is still alive as far as I know — but when I leave the comment under that post, it disappears somewhere into cyberspace — maybe this one will make it thru here.
Glad to hear Jim is ok. Too bad about his brother.
